Actions Technology’s Low-Power Bluetooth SoC Passes Apple Find My Network Accessory Compliance Verification
Recently, Actions Technology’s ATB1113 series low-power Bluetooth SoC successfully passed various compliance verifications by Apple-authorized third-party testing agencies. It is now fully compatible with the latest specifications and functional requirements of the Find My network accessory, providing an efficient and fast low-power Bluetooth application solution for third-party hardware products. Manufacturers can easily integrate the Find My network search function into their terminal devices by adopting this series of chips.
The Apple Find My network consists of hundreds of millions of Apple devices. Through the Find My app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, or the Find Items app on Apple Watch, users can easily and securely locate compatible personal items. Products supporting the Apple Find My Network mainly include two types: one integrates the function into terminal products such as electronic devices, medical equipment, and sports equipment; the other is independent trackers like AirTag, which can be placed in personal items, clothing, backpacks, travel gear, etc., for positioning and tracking.
Actions Technology’s ATB1113 supports the Apple Find My function and can be used in both standalone anti-loss tags and built-in integrated solutions with system applications, enabling third-party accessory products to quickly achieve item-finding functionality. The ATB1113 Find My network solution will first be applied in the anti-loss device direction. Through a highly integrated and easy-to-use SDK, it provides detailed guidance from Apple MFi account application to function development, helping customers accelerate product development and market launch.
1.Excellent low-power performance empowers terminals with longer standby and battery life. In typical anti-loss tag application scenarios, the ATB1113 has a power consumption as low as 3.x mA, a separation state broadcast power consumption of 7.3 μA, and a battery life of up to 2 years.
2.Supports both Apple Find My service and third-party apps, Bluetooth meter-level positioning, UWB precise positioning, NFC, solar power supply, and other differentiated solutions.
3.Outstanding RF performance, the ATB1113 provides a maximum -103 dBm reception (RX) sensitivity, a maximum transmission power of 10 dBm, supports a 2M rate, and supports Long Range, enabling terminal devices to have more stable connection signals and achieve longer-distance searches.
The ATB1113 also has rich on-chip software and hardware resources to meet more development needs of customers, supporting hardware direct encryption of key data to ensure the security of private information; it also provides a complete security computing engine, supports multiple peripherals, and can expand the use scenarios of anti-loss devices.
The ATB1113 is a single-mode low-power Bluetooth 5.3 system-on-chip that can be configured as a Broadcaster, Observer, Central, or Peripheral, and supports various combinations of these roles. It supports one master and multiple slaves, multiple transmissions and receptions, and can be widely used in Bluetooth voice remote controls, voice mice, voice keyboards, translation sticks, voice toys, Bluetooth data transmission products (such as fingerprint locks, smart pill boxes, cold chain logistics, car atomization disinfection, foam soap dispensers, power tools), and other IoT fields.
In April this year, Google officially launched “Find My Device” for Android devices. Leveraging a new crowdsourced network of over one billion Android devices, Find My Device can help quickly and securely retrieve lost Android devices and everyday items. Actions Technology has made early deployments and is currently working with international brand customers to jointly develop anti-loss solutions based on the Android system. Actions Technology will become a tag solution provider supporting both iOS and Android, the two mainstream mobile operating systems.
As a leading low-power AIoT chip design company in the industry, Actions Technology focuses on providing professional integrated chips for wireless audio, smart wearables, and smart interaction in the AIoT field. In the future, Actions Technology will continue to refine its low-power Bluetooth wireless IoT product series, build a more convenient and efficient product development platform, and empower more IoT innovation applications.
